What Counts as a Miracle? Learning to Notice the Miraculous
Download MP3In this episode of Realms of Curiosity, Sarah and Wendy follow up on their experiment with the intention, “I invite the universe to show me miracles in joyful ways.”
When Wendy doesn't notice any obvious synchronicities, they begin questioning what actually qualifies as a miracle. Does the miraculous have to be dramatic, or can it be found in gratitude, abundance, unexpected opportunities, and the way we choose to perceive everyday life?
They explore manifestation, action, persistence, openness, trauma, belief patterns, and the possibility that changing our mindset may change what we're able to notice.
Sarah shares two experiences she considers miraculous, including the unexpected realization behind the title of her book Allowing the Miraculous and an extraordinary invitation involving a 100-acre property in Virginia.
Together, they consider whether miracles are something we create, something we receive, or something we learn to recognize.
