Intro Voiceover:

Welcome to Realms of Curiosity. Listen in as two friends explore the mysteries of the Universe through the lens of their otherworldly experiences.

Sarah:

Hi Wendy!

Wendy:

Sarah, hello! Hello to you!

Sarah:

We were mid joke when when you hit the recording in progress button, so that's why we're laughing like idiots already.

Wendy:

Yeah, yeah. When I'm normally just sitting silently like an idiot. Yeah.

Sarah:

I doubt that. But anyway

Wendy:

Oh, yeah. No. Well, at least yeah. I can I can I can do a good idiot face?

Sarah:

Yeah.

Wendy:

So alright. We were gonna follow-up on on our miracle experiment.

Sarah:

I'd like the universe to show me miracles in joyful ways was our experiment from last week.

Wendy:

Okay.

Sarah:

We wanted to see what would happen. So, no, you go first. Alright,

Wendy:

Sarah. I got nothing. You got nothing. Suck at miracles, apparently. Apparently, you do.

Wendy:

I used the mantra. I was I was very excited about the the possibility. No. I mean, it seemed like like an average week. I didn't notice anything, no cool synchronicities, nothing that got my attention like, woah.

Wendy:

Hey.

Sarah:

Well, did we say this week? No. We did not. We just said, I invite the universe to show me miracles in joyful ways. Did not give

Wendy:

a time limit. You know? That's that's correct. Yeah. So it doesn't mean that one's not on its way.

Wendy:

On its But because we were gonna check-in in a week, it made me assume that maybe we were supposed to have one between the last time and this time. I got -

Sarah:

Probably not.

Wendy:

Goose egg. How about you, pal? Goose egg. What'd you get?

Sarah:

I have a I have a Miracles joke. There's a guy who's very spiritual, and he prays one night to win the lottery. And he's like, God, I really it would be so helpful if I if I could win the lottery. And whatever else his prayer involved. And this goes on for a week, then the lottery ticket is drawn on, I guess, Saturday, and he doesn't win.

Sarah:

And he's, like, crestfallen, and he goes back. He prays again for another week. God, please help me to win the lottery. This goes on and on and on, week after week. And he's getting very despondent.

Sarah:

And one morning or night, he goes on his knees to pray, and he hears a voice from afar, and the voice says, buy a ticket.

Wendy:

Yeah. Yeah.

Sarah:

So I think that's relevant.

Wendy:

There is that, isn't there?

Sarah:

There is that. I think there is that. Very much so. Mhmm. And I was thinking you know what I like about doing these podcasts?

Sarah:

Well, one of the things I like is it forces me to think about what I actually what my actual opinions are at this moment in time on all these different subjects. You know? Because often we just, like, we have everything kind of floating around in there. And then when I start to think about what what do I think the Miraculous is, you know? It's not just like, hey, bring me some Miraculous.

Sarah:

Like, what what do I mean by that? So and I find that happens week after week. It really forces me into some kind of self reflection, and that I think that's really helpful. You know?

Wendy:

I agree. Yeah. I definitely agree. Yeah. It is interesting to to try to articulate some of these things that I'd never really put a lot of thought into before.

Wendy:

And this is definitely one of them.

Sarah:

Oh, I've given a lot of thought to most of the things we talk about, but but it's like it goes in and it's thought about, and then it goes off into the archives, and then it comes out again. And it it you know, it's not like you're you're really defining what these things are. And after our session last week, I was thinking about the miraculous. And for some reason, just the act of allowing the miraculous changed how I felt during the week. Oh, I realized something really important, and that's that my whole life, if I didn't live with the understanding or the or the possibility of the miraculous.

Sarah:

Like, I thought there's no miraculous. I don't know that I could go on. You know? Like, I I would be so despairing if I didn't think we were living with just the the magic of it all. You know?

Sarah:

Like, when because when you open your heart to the miraculous, you feel it. You know? Like, whether it's the tree outside my window or the, oh, I ran into that incredible person. Or, like, miracles don't have to be that I won the lottery. You know?

Sarah:

And very often, they're not. It's like that seems like the most unlikely place for their for you to experience experience the miraculous.

Wendy:

Right. So, yeah, it's not dramatic always. Is that what you mean?

Sarah:

Yeah. It's not dramatic always. Sometimes it just feels good to to be aware of the higher aspects of this life as opposed to just the programmed bullshit, you know, that we live with a lot. You know, the grind. Like, oh, I need more money.

Sarah:

I have to get another job. Like, all the all the stuff. You know?

Wendy:

Right. Right.

Sarah:

What am I gonna watch tonight? You know? It's we connect with the most boring aspects of it all often.

Wendy:

Yeah. Yeah. No. That's a great point. Yeah.

Wendy:

I was just thinking that in reflecting on my week, I I'd have to say that my awareness was heightened around the abundance I already have.

Sarah:

Well, that's a good thing too.

Wendy:

Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it wasn't like anything new came in, which is kind of, I guess, what my headset was about this whole experiment that Right. Something was going to get my attention so we could talk about it. But I was more aware of the the ways in which I feel abundant and that the universe is abundant.

Wendy:

And and then that put me into a place of gratitude

Sarah:

Right.

Wendy:

In a more pronounced way.

Sarah:

Well, that's miraculous,

Wendy:

I think.

Sarah:

You know? That's You

Wendy:

think for me? Yeah? No. It's about time.

Sarah:

I think for all of us, you know, being able to just step out of the like, how are my stocks doing? What's going on with the money world? What's president Trump up to this minute of the day? Like, those things are not miraculous, and they feel pretty shitty for the most part. Unless the stock market's doing really well, then you feel really good.

Sarah:

But yeah.

Wendy:

Right. Yeah. That makes sense. So so, yeah, it's been a helpful exercise to to get my head in a more positive place.

Sarah:

Right.

Wendy:

Not that it's usually in a negative place. It's more in the grind place like you were describing. It's more like, okay. What's next? What do I have to do now?

Wendy:

More in that survival dance mode.

Sarah:

Taking care of yourself.

Wendy:

Right. Yeah. I would love to live more in the the sacred place. Yeah. And maybe just the exercise of of saying this mantra, daily throughout the day can help with that.

Sarah:

I think it can. I I do.

Wendy:

I also wonder if yeah. This whole thing has got me it's got me wondering about, well, what is a miracle to begin with? Why don't we talk about that? Like, at least what where have you landed with that?

Sarah:

So I think there's a lot of different ways to to view the miraculous. I think I think there's just your mindset, you know, as we're just talking about. But, you know, there's like, I was thinking about I I made some notes about it, actually. Because I was thinking, like, what what does invite the miraculous from a from a kind of traditional perspective? I mean and not and I'm not using the perspective of of Judeo Christian god.

Sarah:

Like, that's not involved how I think about it. But more the miraculous of the universe being this really incredible, mystical place that I understand that much of, if that. So I made some notes. And the first thing that came to me was to stay open to opportunities or possibilities. You know?

Sarah:

Like being aware, like, Oh, look at that. Should I say yes to that? And maybe putting yourself in a position of saying yes to more instead of no. Like, no, no thanks. You know, I'm just gonna like So being aware of the opportunities, being persistent, like buy a ticket, You know?

Sarah:

Be persistent. Yeah. Prepare for for the miracle that you're hoping for. You know? Like like when I talked about the guy who wanted to be a director, who just thought it was going to manifest.

Sarah:

Prepare for it. Go to school. Do the things. Read the books. Pray.

Sarah:

I don't know. Whatever your way is. And then helping others. I felt there was something about being present for others that is also helpful in this quest for the miraculous. Like, doing your homework.

Sarah:

Like, when your mundane self thinks go left, what happens when you go right? You know? Into into a little bit more of the of the magical. I I guess that's where I think the miraculous is. And I I did have something miraculous happen this week.

Wendy:

Okay. Let's hear it.

Sarah:

It might not seem like what we're necessarily thinking about, but for me, it was so you know, I've been writing this book. And it's had a variety of titles, and it's had a variety of ways for people to it's a how to book of ways for people to open themselves to the more cosmic levels of reality, and clear away some of the shit that keeps us from those places. And so the books had many titles and many directions, some more shamanic, some more kind of esoteric. And after our assignment, I went in to do some writing, and it suddenly hit me that I wanted to call the book Allowing the Miraculous. And I thought, Oh, I like that.

Sarah:

And it felt very exciting to me. And it felt like it gave what my writing is. Because the book is finished, except there has to be some big change in it that I didn't know how to do it. And I thought, that's what it is. I want to allow the miraculous.

Sarah:

And here are all these exercises and things you can do to find the miraculous. I think that was pretty miraculous. Because I've been struggling with this for about a year. I haven't you know?

Wendy:

I love it. No. I think that sounds wonderful. And it sounds, yeah, really intriguing too.

Sarah:

I think so. It it you know, it's and I got you know, I finished the book, and then I got notes from a a publisher, a guy who does self publishing. And I was supposed to go back, and and and I kept thinking, I have to do this, and I I couldn't. And I've been stuck for a year. You know?

Sarah:

Like, just like, I don't know where I wanna take this.

Wendy:

So frustrating.

Sarah:

Yeah. So frustrating. And I knew it wasn't right the way it was. And now I feel really excited again about it.

Wendy:

Yeah. I think when you're writing something, when you're a writer, that there you're looking for that. It's gotta it's gotta feel a certain way.

Sarah:

Yeah.

Wendy:

And if you don't hit that feeling, then it's just not right. Yeah. And it's a very undefinable thing other than like, for me, it's rhythm and the arc and yeah. Anyway, but it's a very personal journey for sure. But so the miraculous a lot of what you're saying when you're describing the miraculous is sounds like manifestation.

Wendy:

Like, when we think back when we had our manifestation conversation

Sarah:

Yeah.

Wendy:

A lot of that sounds like it. And I wonder if I'm getting I mean, when I think about the Miraculous, I think about kind of like an unexpected out of the blue, which is the same thing as unexpected. Nice, Wendy. Occurrence of something that takes your breath away.

Sarah:

So here's something just to interrupt for one second. Yeah. The first title I had for this book was Out of the Blue. It's so funny.

Wendy:

That's right. Yeah. That's right.

Sarah:

And and so but it never, like, quite It didn't hit.

Wendy:

It, yeah, it didn't feel right. Yeah.

Sarah:

Exactly. Exactly.

Wendy:

But yeah. But you know what I mean? Like, you think of the rare circumstances of a spontaneous healing, for example, where somebody is considered miraculous that this person, all of a sudden, their, tumors are gone.

Sarah:

Yeah. What is

Wendy:

what is that? Well, yeah, that's kind of what made me curious, and that's I was thinking more about those kinds of miracles. Yeah. Yeah. Of course, I can't think of any other examples right now, and I'm sure there's a million of them, but I can't think of any other types of miracles like winning the lottery.

Wendy:

Yeah. Which would be pretty miraculous.

Sarah:

I bought ...

Sarah:

I did that this week, by the way.

Wendy:

I never buy a ticket?

Sarah:

I bought 10 ticket. No. I bought five tickets because it came to $10. And I went and I looked at all my numbers, and I picked my numbers, and I did all my stuff. And I thought, okay.

Sarah:

Let's see if this is in the realm of the miraculous. And, of course, I did not win.

Wendy:

But I I bet you would have led with that. Yeah. I did. Love my book. I got a title, which is cool.

Wendy:

That's definitely cool.

Sarah:

I got a title, and I won $35,000,000. Yeah. That would have been nice. That's so funny.

Wendy:

So the so I didn't even look up the definition of miracle, but it does make me kinda curious about what the official definition of it is.

Sarah:

Anyhow miracle the sorry. I keep interrupting. Go ahead. Is miracle the same as the miraculous? I think we I have a slightly different jive in my head because I think when somebody says, oh, it was a miracle.

Sarah:

That is an out of

Wendy:

the blue kind of what Yeah. Just that yeah. I wasn't expecting that. So something is miraculous. Okay.

Sarah:

I don't know. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but Yeah.

Wendy:

It's it's a different form of the same word.

Sarah:

Yeah. Yeah. It is.

Wendy:

Yeah. It's the state of miracleness.

Sarah:

Is it? No, it's not magic because magic has a different connotation as well.

Wendy:

Yeah. I don't know. I don't know. But I think I knew what you meant when you suggested the experiment, which was Yeah. More along the lines of what we've been talking about, not like spontaneous healings and

Sarah:

Yeah.

Wendy:

And that kind of thing. Yeah. But just being open to the universe offering gifts in whatever form they show up in, whether it's a title for your book or the best fucking parking space on the planet or

Sarah:

In LA?

Wendy:

Which is miraculous.

Sarah:

That is that's a miracle.

Wendy:

From what I remember.

Sarah:

And I'm

Wendy:

sure it's only worse than

Sarah:

Yeah.

Wendy:

Than when I lived there. Yeah. Anyway, but it it made me wonder about the spontaneous miracles that maybe you're not expecting. Although, I guess, from a religious standpoint, people are praying for a miracle.

Sarah:

Yeah.

Wendy:

And do they get it?

Sarah:

Yeah.

Wendy:

I mean, the people who experience, for example, spontaneous healing, were they praying for that? I don't know. Do you know?

Sarah:

No. I I mean, I don't know because yeah. I mean, it's a tough question. Right? I mean

Wendy:

They're not here, those people, to answer the question.

Sarah:

No. We need to do more research.

Wendy:

K. Miracle conversation slightly premature.

Sarah:

Slightly premature. Exactly. No. It's not. I mean, you know, we don't have to sort it out in one forty five minute period, do we?

Wendy:

Right. But the other thing it made me think about is the nature of reality. And and we've touched on this kind of peripherally in the past. We've talked about the field of possibilities, right, or however you wanna describe it, And our relationship to that, and then how we can get in our own way with our belief systems, our wounds, our life paths, whatever. And what have how to word this?

Wendy:

It makes me wonder, are we just not wired to be living that kind of life where we can tap into that? Is that part of our evolutionary process, which is more along the lines of maybe where I land? It where we're just maybe not evolved enough spiritually to be able to understand how that works, Or is it that, I don't know. I don't have a third option. Any thoughts on that?

Wendy:

Like, could we be miracle machines or manifestation machines if we knew how to be in relationship with that field in a way that's different than we are now.

Sarah:

I believes I believe that to be true. I don't know that I have anything to back it up, but I do I do feel that.

Wendy:

You know? We'll go with your feeling then. We'll go with that.

Sarah:

Yeah. You know how we talked a few weeks ago about people would say I'm a good manifester? Yeah. And when you said that, like, is the miraculous like, allowing the miraculous what it takes to be a good manifester. And I do think it is.

Sarah:

You know? I do think it's I don't know. I have, like, a thousand different thoughts in my mind at the same time here. But, like, when you think about the idea of multiple timelines and and things that are holding you back where where you are, and if you what if you just sort of allow the miraculous to to to float you out of out of that and into a different timeline of what you can possibly be manifesting or what what you're opening up? I I I'm not I'm not being clear at all.

Sarah:

But

Wendy:

Well, you make it sound very easy by allowing yourself to kind of adjust to that place.

Sarah:

Yeah. But there's sticky pieces in our in our timelines, for sure. You know?

Wendy:

And what do you see as the sticky pieces? Trauma, for one. Right. Okay.

Sarah:

I think trauma is very sticky. I I my visual on that is like is like a lumpy, cyst almost, you know, but, like

Wendy:

Nice visual. Yeah. Yeah. That's I should say nice hand gesture.

Sarah:

Oh, man. But doesn't that what it feels? It does feel like.

Wendy:

Oh, yeah. No. I would say I was gonna suggest a similar thing that we get in our own way, and that's why I'm wondering if it's an evolutionary thing is that we're we are and I don't know if it's specific to the entire species of Homo sapiens or if it's individual our own evolutionary journeys. Because you think about all of the noise in your interior world comprised of our various life traumas and our mindsets and our belief systems.

Sarah:

Yeah. The

Wendy:

program. Yeah. And, like, I had mentioned in that manifestation episode how my belief that came out of my experience as a kid that you're on your own, So therefore, there's no one who's gonna help me. So I'm on I gotta figure it out myself. So that includes the universe.

Wendy:

Yeah. And so I wouldn't even think that the universe would wanna help. Yeah. And from

Sarah:

From that that

Wendy:

mind oh, absolutely. Yeah. It has, but not always when I've asked. It's it's more it's been more like and that's what gets me to the I was gonna also mention the higher self conversation too because there's those touch points in life where sometimes you're having these really pivotal experiences that seem to come out of the blue that change the course of your life. It could be meeting a person or an opportunity or whatever, and those always put you on a new trajectory, usually of some kind of learning.

Wendy:

But, I just I just kinda get lost in all of the but I guess the point is is if things were that easy, what would be the point of incarnating on this planet? There's something about the triumph of overcoming yourself.

Sarah:

The triumph of making it through this ridiculous life. Yeah.

Wendy:

I don't know. I mean, I've I've I'm kind of enjoying it even though it's it's very fucked up on planet Earth right now.

Sarah:

Yeah.

Wendy:

At least from my experiences, I'm like, alright. I get it. I'll play along. I'll do this. I'll do this thing that that we call life, and I'll try to do the best I can.

Wendy:

But I also see that when I point my focus in a healing direction for myself

Sarah:

Mhmm.

Wendy:

A desire to be better, that I see the outcome of that.

Sarah:

Yeah.

Wendy:

You may disagree or anyone who knows me may disagree. But No. But from my direct experience of myself, I could say, alright. Compared to a decade ago, three decades ago, I can keep going if you want. So many decades ago.

Wendy:

I'm in a much better place and in and and would say that in in general, I'm enjoying my life. Yeah. Most of the time. Yeah.

Sarah:

You have this, like, concept that you're not a good manifester particularly, but I really disagree with you. You you you've manifested a pretty wonderful life.

Wendy:

Right. But I'm just saying there's been a tremendous amount of elbow grease that's gone into it. Yeah. And I'm in survival mode, though, all the time. That's the part I haven't quite landed yet.

Sarah:

I agree.

Wendy:

And so from that standpoint, that's one of my one of my sticking points. Right? So I'm working on that. Yep. But I could look at everything that I have created and say that I've worked very fucking hard to do every single one of those things.

Sarah:

Yeah. But some people work very fucking hard and and just keep making a mess. You know? They're not building a magical kind of world. They're they're or or even a really solid like, you there's people that just go on and on and on making a mess.

Sarah:

You know?

Wendy:

Oh, right. Yeah. No. I get that. Yeah.

Wendy:

But that's what I'm trying to say. Despite the challenges I have, I'm enjoying myself.

Sarah:

Right. Right. I am I am too. I'm I'm slightly more negative in a No.

Wendy:

No? I'm just kidding. Yeah.

Sarah:

I am. I've got I've got a very it's really weird when you when you break it down. You know? Like, there's a piece of me that's so magical thinking, and then there's a piece of me that is so, like, I can't stand this place for another minute. You know?

Sarah:

Like

Wendy:

I've wondered about that. Like, how does that How does it live? How does that, yeah, how does that jive in your It

Sarah:

doesn't it doesn't jive because I'm a Gemini. Right? So it's either, like, great or awful. You know? And and and this this yeah.

Sarah:

I mean, I find humanity just so tiresome. You know? I think, come on, guys. You know? You can do better than this.

Sarah:

And it makes me tired of being here. I mean, not, like, suicidally tired of being here, but but, like, tired of being here.

Wendy:

Right. Right. Yeah. No. We we, we're a lot.

Sarah:

We're a lot. We're really a lot.

Wendy:

Yeah. We're a work in progress.

Sarah:

Gee whiz. But I try to stay on the other end of the pool, you know, where where the magical good stuff is. I I try to go there as much as possible, and then sometimes I fall off, and I need to, you know, be home for a while.

Wendy:

Right. So what do we do then when we bump up against our shortcomings? Right? I think where I've landed is the first step in healing seems to be acceptance. Yeah.

Wendy:

Accepting that I have this particular limitation or obstacle or

Sarah:

Yeah. Learning Will to be comfortable. Learning to be

Wendy:

comfortable with it. Yeah. And the thing about acceptance is that you don't have to like it. Right. Just accepting that, okay, this exists in within me.

Wendy:

Yeah. Because if you don't accept it, you're gonna have resistance constantly, and it's just it's always always gonna be fighting back.

Sarah:

Yeah. Yeah. It's true.

Wendy:

So, like, accepting that I have this mindset. I gotta do shit on my own. I'm I'm on my own, whatever. Maybe I haven't completely accepted that I'm not, which would suggest that maybe there's a trust issue. Like, I trust myself that I'll get it done, but do I trust that the universe will have my back?

Wendy:

I don't know.

Sarah:

Yeah. I mean, but when you look at the when you look at the arc of your life, the universe is is you know, I think I said a few weeks ago something about giving thanks for all the things that haven't happened to me. You know?

Wendy:

Like Right. You did say that. Yeah.

Sarah:

Yeah. And I think that's that's pretty like, when I look at my life, I think, woah. You know? Like, universe has been really good to me. And it's and it and like you, I've had to work for it.

Sarah:

And and, you know, nothing was handed on a silver platter. Or maybe some things. I don't know. But and there's been real struggles in in there. But but, basically, it's been quite remarkable.

Sarah:

And in fact, this week, there was something else that was semi miraculous too. You know, I've been I've been talking about I don't know if I've done this in our public display here, but I've been talking about my desire to leave LA, to to go back to living in the forest, to be in the country, to be with animals, to get a bunch more dogs, and this real return to the land kind of vibe that is very strong in me right now. And I look at places. Where do I want to be? Is that Northern California?

Sarah:

Mm-mm, too redneck. I go in and out of looking at things, and recently sort of just put it out there to the universe, like, just show me where I'm supposed to be. You know? And of course, that doesn't absolve me of my responsibility in that. But I'm looking for, like, a little assistance.

Sarah:

And yesterday, I talked to a friend of mine who I thought still lived in Vermont, and we're talking. And she said, Well, you know, I moved to Virginia. And I was like, no. I didn't know that. And she described this paradise.

Sarah:

They bought a 100 acres of land with barns and this beautiful house, and they're building these small cabins down by the river. And she said, I don't really love the house. It's too modern. I wanna build another log cabin, and we'll rent out the house. And I said, show me some pictures of the house.

Sarah:

And she sent me, while we were talking, some pictures, and I'm looking at this house, which is, like, so wonderful. And then we finished, and she said, why don't you come and live here? You know?

Wendy:

And Okay. Well, that's so that why didn't you lead with that one? You like that better than my Well, I mean better than my book. That's that's like I get I get the the year long struggle with trying to figure out what was not quite right with your book. I get that.

Wendy:

Totally get that. But I also you have mentioned, in these episodes, a few of these episodes about how you would like to live back in the woods. You'd like to live back to the woods. Right. And so then this opportunity shows itself.

Sarah:

Yeah. And even even in my desires, the structure I've given it, I've I've wanted community. You know? I didn't wanna live, like, by myself in the forest a 100 miles from people because that's not me either. And so this you know, the cabins, the like, it it was so perfect.

Sarah:

It sounds

Wendy:

idyllic. Yeah.

Sarah:

It's oh, and this this woman and her husband in Vermont, they had a animal rescue for cows and chickens and goats. And, like, they have to transport, like, a bazillion animals down to this place. Like, I want animals in my future. This is, like, animals in my future. So you're gonna do it?

Sarah:

Oh, I don't know. I mean, this was yesterday. This came up. I'm gonna go see. You know?

Sarah:

I'll Okay. Take trip to Virginia and see what it's like. She said I said, oh, yeah. I could do shamanism workshops. And she said, yeah.

Sarah:

You might get murdered.

Wendy:

What part of Virginia is it? Is it inland? Ewing? No. I don't know.

Wendy:

Yeah. I I don't know. In Virginia for a little bit.

Sarah:

She she claimed that it's very Christian and very Yeah.

Wendy:

Burn a cross on your front lawn.

Sarah:

Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. I'll that's exactly what she said. You you might get burned at the stake.

Sarah:

That's exactly what she said. I forgot that. Yeah.

Wendy:

So It'll be your little secret.

Sarah:

My my little secret workshops. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Anyway, I don't know.

Sarah:

Whatever this means, I'm not sure.

Wendy:

Yeah. Well, it or it could be, if not that, something just like it.

Sarah:

Yeah. It it showed me something about, yeah, this would be an interesting thing. And and the and the truth and and it's even more perfect than that. It's gonna take them a couple of years to build their house,

Wendy:

which

Sarah:

gives me a few more years here, which is great. So it would be a perfect situation completely. Okay.

Wendy:

So stay tuned, folks. Stay tuned.

Sarah:

Yeah, exactly.

Wendy:

That's awesome. Yeah.

Sarah:

Yeah. So I don't know. Is you think that's more miraculous than the

Wendy:

title of my Well, I mean, I think they're both miraculous, but this one is has a little more juice behind it because you had been talking about this, and and then just so happened that you get an offer Yeah. To live like that Yeah. Yesterday. Yesterday.

Sarah:

Pretty weird.

Wendy:

So we'll see. Or not. Yeah.

Sarah:

Yeah. Yeah. Or not.

Wendy:

What you were just describing before you gave that example, though, your life and the importance of seeing the miraculous in everything or as much as you possibly can. It just makes me think about maybe it's more about having a miraculous mindset.

Sarah:

Yeah. Allowing it. That's why the title of the book.

Wendy:

Yeah. Allowing.

Sarah:

And there's something about that, you know, that I think is important. Allow allowing it. And we know, of course, we've referenced places where you're stuck. You know? And when I get stuck, I get stuck.

Sarah:

I mean, I I know what that feels like. It's not good. You know? And how do you get unstuck? Sometimes you just have to, like you said, just be okay with it for a while.

Wendy:

Well, acknowledge that you're stuck, accept that you're stuck, and then maybe mindset wise look at it as an invitation like, oh, what is this stuckness trying to teach me about

Sarah:

Yeah. Yeah.

Wendy:

About my my path right now? Yeah. Yeah. Well, what do you think on that note? So we continue the experiment?

Sarah:

Yes. Let's continue the experiment.

Wendy:

Okay. And then we'll we'll check back in Yeah. Next time or the time after that or whatever.

Sarah:

You know, I think just one more thing. Yeah. I think for you, this this this thought that that you've referenced many times of I have to do it alone. There's nobody there to help me. I have to do it alone.

Wendy:

Well, I think it's been two times.

Sarah:

I've heard it I've heard it so many more times. No. Come on. Really? Two times.

Wendy:

Go ahead. Go ahead. So you're you're about to give me some sage advice?

Sarah:

I don't know about sage, but, no. And it's not even advice. But what if you shifted your your I allow the the miraculous in in this week to help me not feel that weight in in my life.

Wendy:

Okay. Yeah. I'll play around with that.

Sarah:

Play around with that. Whatever you want Yeah.

Wendy:

I get the gist of what you're saying. Yeah.

Sarah:

Yeah. Alright. See if that I'd be real curious to see how that feels.

Wendy:

But if I can get out of my own freaking way.

Sarah:

Alright. What should I do this week?

Wendy:

Good suggestion. Thank you. Yeah. What should you do? Yeah.

Wendy:

I don't know. I think you're doing a damn good job.

Sarah:

Yeah. I don't know. Maybe I will ask the Miraculous to help me understand and remove that knot of the darkness, you know, the the the Oh, you

Wendy:

mean the word negative?

Sarah:

Yeah. The negative Perspective. Yeah.

Wendy:

That's yeah. That's a worthy one too. Yeah.

Sarah:

Yeah. It's worthy. Because that's that's my biggest shortcoming is is when that takes hold. It it's it's very strong. You know?

Sarah:

And

Wendy:

Okay. Let's do that.

Sarah:

All right. All right. We'll report back.

Wendy:

Okay. Well, Lynn, until next time.

Sarah:

Until next time. Bye.
